As the Fall semester welcomes students back online and on campus, the annual Creative Writing Contest at MCC opens its arms to budding writers. There are three categories available for submission: Creative Non-fiction, Fiction, and Poetry. This year’s theme is on everyone’s mind after a tumultuous past two years titled, “What’s Next?” Cash prizes will be given away to those who place in 1^st, 2^nd, or 3^rd in any category, with the dollar amount being $75, $50, and $25, respectively. Up to four pieces may be submitted with any combination of the three categories.

All winners will get their cash prize, a certificate, and will have their work published in River Voices 2021 edition.
