On Tuesday morning, a suspected DUI-related collision in the College neighborhood resulted in the arrest of two individuals and the serious injury of one more.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the collision occurred at approximately 4:40 a.m. on Tuesday when a lady driving a black Toyota 4Runner allegedly ran a light and collided with another car at the intersection of Collwood Boulevard and Montezuma Road, as reported by City News Service.

According to authorities, the driver of the 4Runner eventually pulled over shortly after failing to yield while being chased by officers. She and the passenger were taken into arrest.

The victim was sent to Scripps Mercy Hospital after suffering potentially fatal injuries. The individual’s name has not yet been made public.
According to the police, the man was charged with evading an officer and perhaps operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
