San Diego Trolley service was interrupted on Saturday after police investigated a device with wiring attached downtown; however, the object was found to be innocuous.
According to San Diego police, the object was initially reported at 10:40 a.m. on Saturday at the San Diego Law Library’s entrance at 1105 Front St.
According to an officer, the suspicious object was characterized as a dark, square package with what seemed like wiring sticking out of it, but it turned out to be nothing threatening.

Due to San Diego Comic-Con, the Metropolitan Transit System suspended trolley service through the C Street crossing during one of its busiest periods of the year while investigators conducted their investigation. On Saturday afternoon, service was restored.
No arrests were announced in relation to the item.
