Toccoa resident wins nearly $300K as Northeast Georgia lottery streak continues

Northeast Georgia is experiencing a lucky streak, and Toccoa is the newest hotspot.

According to lottery officials, a resident of Toccoa recently won $293,691 while playing the Jackpot Bankroll Diggi Game on the Georgia Lottery’s mobile app. This summer, the region has seen an increasing number of significant payments, including the digital victory.

A few days prior, another player won $183,790 in the July 22 drawing on a Fantasy 5 ticket that was sold at Underdogs of Toccoa. All five numbers on that winning ticket matched: 07-13-20-31-32.

The recent lotto windfalls in the area come after the Toccoa victories. A player in Dahlonega won $3 million in the 100X The Money scratcher game on July 18. The winning ticket was bought at Morrison Moore Parkway West’s Fast Stop.

Additionally, two inhabitants of Gainesville have become wealthy. On June 20, a player using a ticket purchased via the Georgia Lottery mobile app won a $2 million Mega Millions win. On July 3, another winner from Gainesville won $1 million by participating in the Millionaire Maker scratch-off.
