What’s a SNAP?

There are some requirements for this new combined benefit, so let’s have a look at them:

If your family has a low income or you are incharge of minors in your house, you could apply for the benefit. Also, elderly people and current SNAP beneficiaries are able to do so too.

If you are valid for this combined benefit, you will receive the amounts in two ways. The first one, and most common one, is by adding them to the EBT card or to a direct deposit corresponding to the local stimulus.

As mentioned before, if you are already a SNAP beneficiary, you immediately enter in this progra. However, you need to check this situation by reviewing your EBT car app, your e-mail and text messages sent by local social services offices.

It is important for you to know there is no need to go to any office if you are not required. In this case, you will be sent a letter or message asking you for updating some data.
