This weekend, the entire San Diego region is expected to be hot and muggy, with the possibility of afternoon thunderstorms.
According to the National Weather Services, high temperatures will continue to be above normal through Monday. Through Tuesday, there will be more monsoonal moisture, and there will be daily possibilities of thunderstorms and afternoon and early evening showers, mostly in the highlands and deserts.
In most places, there is a 20% chance of detectable precipitation, but in the highlands and deserts, that number rises to about 50%.
While it will be mostly sunny elsewhere, coastal locations may anticipate low clouds at night and in the morning.
Going into the weekend, there will be heat and a potential of T-storms. When spending time outside, protect yourself from the heat by drinking plenty of water and taking rests in the shade.
