According to a lieutenant from the San Diego Police Homicide Unit, detectives are looking into a possible murder-suicide that happened near Oak Park on Saturday morning.
At 9:47 a.m., police officers from the Southeastern Division responded to a report of a domestic violence gunshot in the 5500 block of Timothy Drive.
When they arrived, they discovered a 50-year-old black woman with an upper torso gunshot wound. While receiving assistance from the cops, she passed away on the spot.
Police discovered a black man, also in his 50s, dead from a gunshot wound to the head in another room.

According to Lt. Arturo Swadener, both people resided at the house, although it is currently unknown how the man and lady were related.
According to Swadener, there is no proof that the gunman left the house and the area is contained.
