Pet adoption fees wavied during Empty the Shelters event

GAINESVILLE, GA As part of the BISSELL Pet Foundation-sponsored nationwide adoption campaign, Empty the Shelters, the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia (HSNEGA) is waiving adoption costs for dogs and cats older than six months from Saturday, July 5 through Saturday, July 19.

By connecting responsible, affectionate pet owners with well screened animals up for adoption, this unique event aims to lessen pet homelessness. Every creature made accessible by the program is vaccinated, microchipped, spayed or neutered, and prepared for adoption.

This is an opportunity to open your heart and home while giving an animal in need a second shot, whether you’re seeking for a devoted friend or a peaceful lap cat. Please, only serious, dedicated adopters.
