Since late Saturday evening, thousands of San Diego Gas and Electric customers have been without electricity.
Chula Vista is experiencing one outage after an automobile reportedly collided with electricity lines overnight.
According to the company, “our crews are currently on scene making repairs after a vehicle came into contact with our electric system.”
According to the Chula Vista Police Department, they don’t have any more details about the car.
According to SDG&E, the outage started at 11:48 p.m. on Saturday in the vicinity of G Street at Bay Boulevard and East H Street and Hilltop Drive.

Over 3,000 clients are impacted. By 11 a.m., restoration was anticipated, according to the SDG&E website.

Early on Sunday, several hundred customers were impacted by another outage that was recorded close to Pine Valley. For unidentified causes that are still being looked into, that one began just before five in the morning.
By 10 a.m. on Sunday, power is anticipated to be restored there.
