According to the Hart County Sheriff’s Office, a guy from Hartwell passed away after suffering injuries in a fall from the rear of a driving pickup truck.

Following reports of the incident, emergency personnel arrived at the 7200 block of Mount Olivet Road at approximately 8:35 p.m. on Monday, June 30. When deputies, emergency medical services, and firefighters arrived, they discovered that Matthew Hill, 59, had been hurt after tumbling from the truck bed.
