Fire displaces family of four in Flowery Branch

Two adults, two children, and two cats were forced to leave their Flowery Branch house when a fire severely destroyed it on Saturday afternoon.

On June 28, at approximately 4:50 p.m., Hall County Fire Rescue (HCFR) arrived on the scene of a reported residence fire in the 7200 block of Paddle Wheel Court. According to HCFR Public Information Officer Kimberlie Ledsinger, when personnel arrived, they discovered a two-story house with a basement at the rear, where there was a lot of smoke and fire.

Firefighters moved swiftly to contain the fire and stop it from getting worse. After water lines were installed, the fire that had spread into the attic was put out.

The Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office is still investigating the fire’s cause, which is presently unknown.
