Following a hit-and-run that injured a cyclist in Golden Hill, authorities on Thursday requested the public’s assistance in locating a driver who ran away.
A 62-year-old male was hit in the collision that happened in the 2400 block of F Street on Monday at approximately 7:25 p.m., according to the San Diego Police Department.

The car, a small SUV, ran away from 25th Street west on F Street. The car is gray with black rims, based on the footage captured at the site. It is thought to have front-end damage.
According to authorities, the driver was a man between the ages of 28 and 32 who was traveling with a female passenger.

Call the SDPD’s Traffic Division at 858-495-7823 or the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at 888-580-8477 if you know the identify or whereabouts of the suspect or the car. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered by Crime Stoppers for information that results in an arrest in this case.
