Cleveland City Council to hold final tax millage rate hearings August 14

On Thursday, August 14, the Cleveland City Council will host the last two public hearings regarding the adoption of the 2025 tax millage rate and digest.

There will be two public hearings: the first at 8 a.m. and the second at 4:30 p.m. Following the last hearing, the Cleveland mayor and council are scheduled to convene at 4:45 p.m. to accept the tax millage rate.

The Oak Springs Community Center/Police, located at 342 Campbell Street in Cleveland, will host all of the sessions.

Leaders in Cleveland declared their plan to maintain the current millage rate of 5.056 mills. In comparison to the rollback millage rate, this would result in a 1.04% rise in property city taxes.
