An intergovernmental agreement to join the Northeast Georgia area Radio Network, which might enhance emergency communication capabilities among area public safety agencies, will be discussed by council members in new business.
Additionally, the council will decide how to dispose of five outdated police cars, including multiple Ford Explorers and Dodge Chargers.
In addition to public comment opportunities near the end of the meeting, committee reports from departments such as Finance, Main Street, Fire, ESG, Police, and Planning and Zoning are anticipated.
Under Georgia Code Section 50-14-3(b)(1)(B), council members may, if necessary, convene an executive session to talk about property transactions.
Attendance and participation in local administration are promoted among the populace. Clarkesville City Hall has the entire agenda.
