Clarkesville celebrates summer with music, fireworks, and family fun July 12

This weekend, Pitts Park will host Clarkesville’s largest summer event, Red, White, and Tunes. The yearly event will feature a concert and fireworks display on Saturday, July 12, from 5 to 10 p.m.

There will be live music, delicious food, and entertainment for all ages at this free community event. The Dylan Armour Band, renowned for their upbeat shows and crowd-pleasing songs, will be the night’s main attraction. It is suggested that families bring lawn chairs so they can spend the night outside. Free activities for kids will include face painting and bouncing houses. A range of festival favorites will be offered by food vendors on the premises. There will also be wine and beer for adults to buy.

According to the forecast, there is a 50% probability of rain. In the event of a sudden summer storm, you might wish to bring an umbrella. There has been no announcement of a rain date.

Pitts Park is situated at the junction of Washington Street and GA 197 North, not far from Clarkesville’s town square.
