Woof!
The 20th Annual Kahoots Dog Days of Summer, a community celebration honoring dogs and the Cardiff-by-the-Sea neighborhood, will take place on Sunday at Encinitas Community Park.
The event will take place at the park from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will include over 100 vendors selling goods and services related to dogs, as well as local adoption and rescue organizations and a Maker’s Market Row with handcrafted items from local craftspeople. In addition, there will be food trucks, dog competitions, live music, and kid-friendly activities for attendees.
According to Alison Wielechowski, director of Cardiff 101, the event organizers, this is my favorite event of the year. People are gathering to honor their beloved four-legged companions at this park with an ocean breeze. This year’s VIP tent with misters and shade will be the place to be, the contests are a lot of fun, and the Libation Lounge is refreshing.
