Camp Pendleton warns of loud noises through August 10

Residents of coastal North County should anticipate more noise in the coming days, according to officials from Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton.

According to the military base, high-explosive bombs will be used for live-fire training. According to base officials, this implies that rumbles and explosions from the training might be heard day or night.

The explosions might be heard up to 50 miles from the facility, depending on the state of the atmosphere.
