California is the most enjoyable state in America, easily surpassing Florida and Nevada, which came in second and third, according to a new national rating that was announced on Tuesday.
The 50 states were compared using 26 important metrics of a fun time that won’t break the bank by the WalletHub personal finance website.
The data included typical movie and wine pricing, beach and weather metrics, the number of golf courses and nightlife alternatives per people, and more.
According to WalletHub’s findings, in some states, having fun is not only a choice but a way of life.
From those who want to sit down and watch a movie to those who are drawn to the outdoors and sports, these states have so many different activities that everyone will find something to enjoy.
California has a disproportionately high number of dining options, amusement parks, movie theaters, and exercise facilities per person, according to WalletHub. It also boasts the best beach access and the most picturesque roads.
Illinois, New York, Colorado, Washington, Texas, Minnesota, and Oregon were the other states in the top 10, in that order.
