Demorest’s Back to School Bash brings music and family fun downtown Aug. 4

The entire community is invited to the Demorest Downtown Authority’s second Monday Night Downtown of 2025 a Back to School Bash on Monday, August 4, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the recently refurbished Georgia Street Pavilion, which is situated in the Post Office parking lot. The event promises to be fun, musical, and memorable.

This free event provides a final opportunity to enjoy the season with friends, neighbors, and local vendors as the summer draws to a close and families prepare for the upcoming school year.

In the case of inclement weather, any schedule modifications will be communicated by Monday at 10 a.m.The Demorest Downtown Development Authority made the presentation.

Live Entertainment: Carbon Harry, a group of incredibly gifted primary school musicians from Tiger, Georgia, will be the main act of the evening. Their presentation will impress audiences of all ages with a blend of upbeat rock hits and original songs.

Family-Friendly Fun: There will be plenty of activities for smaller children at the event, such as a balloon artist making entertaining masterpieces all evening long, the Brilla Art Truck, and a bounce house.

Local Eats & Vendors: There will be a food truck present, and many neighborhood merchants will provide a range of goods ideal for early back-to-school purchasing or just perusing.

Prizes & Giveaways: Free giveaways, such as gift cards to neighborhood eateries and donated goods from surrounding companies, will be given away throughout the evening.
