CALIFORNIA, Md. – A man escaped serious injury on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, after crashing his vehicle into a utility pole along Indian Bridge Road.
The single-vehicle collision occurred around 3:30 p.m. near Onion Fields Lane. Responding deputies found a silver Honda Civic that had crossed the roadway, struck several mailboxes, and landed in a ditch against a utility pole.
The adult male driver was already out of the vehicle when first responders arrived. Emergency medical personnel evaluated him at the scene, but he declined further treatment and signed a care refusal.
