San Diego Weekend Guide: July 25-27 — Bites & Brass

You might remark, “Aw, jom-icon, schwam-icon.” However, if you look closely, a lot of the local entertainment this weekend in San Diego is a parody of the pop cultural juggernaut that is happening downtown, which includes movies, anime, and wrestling and indigenous festivals.

So feel free to give in. We also have additional information about Comic-Conitself and all the events downtown that don’t require a badge.

On Friday at 6 p.m., taste Chula Vista at Taste of Eastlake. The Chula Vista Elite Athletic Training Center event tickets are $80. They feature live entertainment as well as nibbles from 40 restaurants (and bars). The Eastlake Educational Foundation is the beneficiary of the proceeds.
