Firearms seized from home of Fallbrook man accused of threatening delivery drivers

A alleged felon has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting, threatening and pointing a gun at delivery drivers in Fallbrook in recent months, authorities reported.

Detectives took Devin Frankel, 39, into custody and seized four firearms, including an assault rifle, after serving a search warrant shortly after 5 a.m. Thursday at his residence in the 2300 block of Green Valley Road in Fallbrook, according to the

San Diego County Sheriff’s Office

.

During encounters with delivery workers, Frankel allegedly choked one of them, threatened to shoot another and pulled what is believed to have been a gun on a third, Lt Darrell McNeal said.

Frankel was booked into county jail in Vista on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, being a felon in possession of firearms and making criminal threats. Sheriff’s officials disclosed no suspected motive in the case.
