A mild earthquake rattled the eastern reaches of San Diego County late Thursday afternoon.
The 3.6-magnitude temblor struck at 4:16 p.m., centered about three miles west of Borrego Springs and roughly 30 miles east-northeast of Ramona, according to the
U.S. Geological Survey.

Representatives of Cal Fire and the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office said they had received no reports of damage or any other problems caused by the quake.
