Water outage reported in Clarkesville

There is an outage on Spring Street and its surrounding streets, according to the Clarkesville Water Department.

A public works crew is on their way to start repairs, according to a notice from the department.

Customers of Clarkesville Water who are impacted by the outage are encouraged to boil their tap water as a precaution until service is restored. Customers who are impacted should boil water for two minutes at a rolling boil before using it for cooking, drinking, or making baby food.

Until further notice, the advisory is in force.
