Introducing ‘Camp Crafter’: A hands-on summer series inspiring creativity in kids

Now Habersham is pleased to introduce Camp Craftera, a brand-new weekly video series that aims to encourage kids of all ages to be creative, imaginative, and have fun. Camp Crafter provides simple craft instructions and imaginative projects ideal for summer days at home, camp, or daycare, regardless of whether your child is an artist in the making or is simply searching for something enjoyable to do during the summer.

Every episode includes detailed directions for easy, entertaining projects made with common materials—no pricey resources are needed! With projects like making their own hackeysacks, shrinky dinks, and leaf printing, Camp Crafter inspires children to discover their creative side while fostering their fine motor skills and self-assurance.

The focus of Camp Crafter, which is hosted by Corinne Mullen, an art teacher at a middle school, is unplugging from electronics and reestablishing relationships with one another. In addition to providing parents and other caregivers with new ideas for keeping young hands and minds engaged, it fosters creativity among the community.

Every Tuesday over the summer, new episodes are released on NowHabersham.com, YouTube, and our social media accounts. Every project is made to be enjoyable, suitable for a variety of ages and ability levels, and family-friendly.

You will need the following for our camp craft on June 24:

  • scissors
  • popsicle sticks
  • yarn
  • hot glue (optional)

Corinne spent $3 at Walmart on her yarn and popsicle sticks!

We cordially invite you to go on this creative adventure with us and our sponsors, Hayes Chevrolet and The Patel Family McDonald’s. Join our expanding community of young makers by sharing your kids’ work at #CampCrafter.

One craft at a time, let’s make this summer one to remember!
