Florida Man Arrested for Shooting Neighbor’s Cow Multiple Times
It’s been 25 days since a deadly shooting rocked a Jersey City neighborhood—and the suspected killer is still on the loose.
Hudson County prosecutors announced Thursday that the suspect in the April homicide has yet to be located, and they’re urging the public to come forward with any information that might lead to an arrest.
“We are asking anyone who may have seen or heard anything—even something that seemed minor—to reach out,” said Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez. “This family deserves justice, and time is critical.”
The fatal shooting occurred on the night of April 4, near the intersection of Martin Luther King Drive and Oak Street. The victim, a 32-year-old man from Jersey City, was pronounced dead at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds.
Authorities identified a suspect shortly after the incident but have not publicly released the name due to the ongoing investigation. Officials confirmed the individual is believed to be armed and dangerous.
Prosecutor Suarez emphasized that residents should not approach the suspect if spotted. Instead, they should call 911 or submit tips anonymously.
“Someone out there knows where he is,” Suarez said. “We’re counting on the community.”
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit at 201-915-1345 or leave an anonymous tip at www.hudsoncountyprosecutorsofficenj.org/tips.
