The Muskegon Community College Wind Ensemble and the Jazz Ensemble, conducted by Daniel M. Meyers, will perform their Spring Concert on Friday, April 22, at 7:30 p.m. in the Orchard View High School Auditorium. Doors open at 7 p.m. and admission is a free-will donation.

The Wind Ensemble will perform four selections:

• “Sòlas Ané” (Gaelic: Yesterday’s Joy) by Samuel R. Hazo
• “Ride” by Samuel R. Hazo
• “Infinite Hope” by Brian Balmages
• “Irish Tune from County Derry” by Percy Grainger

The Jazz Ensemble will conclude the evening’s performance with four numbers:

• “El Abrazo” by Alan Baylock
• “Higher Ground” by Stevie Wonder, arr. Mike Tomaro
• “My Funny Valentine” by Richard Rodgers, arr. Dave Wolpe
• “Take Five” by Paul Desmond, arr. Rich Derosa
